These boxy clutches were inspired by a clutch bag I saw in a 1943 Sears and Roebuck catalogue, I have only made 5 as they have vintage clasps, which are really difficult to get and very awkward to fix on, but I think the results are worth it! These bags are made from one piece of leather with 2 side seams, so there are no stress points and no worry about "over-loading" them! They have 2 bands of leather or suede with 2 vintage fasteners, leather lined with one divided interior pocket and a reinforced base to prevent stretching. They measure 10" wide and 6" high and the sides are 2" wide. Available in dark brown or slate grey patent embossed croc with suede trim, vintage (probably 1960's) red lizard embossed leather, this has two tone rectangles in the leather and has red suede trim, vintage 1970's lace patterned leather with suede trim and a unique sample piece of screen printed leather with a rose and butterfly pattern with pink leather trim.

	A classic envelope clutch with leather trim and a vintage fastener. Leather lined with a divided interior pocket. For added convenience there is a detachable 15" handle. Fastens with an antique brass vintage lock, which can be locked (key attached to handle). Measures 12" wide, 8" deep with a 2" side panel. Available in dark brown or slate grey patent croc embossed leather.
