These 3 bags are totally unique as they use original vintage frames sourced from America, Germany and France. There is only one of each and as such had to be individually designed to accomodate the fittings. I researched a lot of art deco designs and old Hollywood films to inspire designs in keeping with the time period of the frames. |

A chestnut bag on a 1940's american lucite frame, with the original 22" tortoishell lucite linked handle. I have decorated this bag with leaves and flower rosettes made from leather. It is piped and lined in burnt orange leather and has one divided interior pocket. The hard base has 4 anti-scratch feet. It is 92 high and 12" wide with a 4" base. The width of the frame is 9". A boxy hand held bag in burnt orange with chestnut leather chevron stripes. This bag has a really interesting turnlock fastener and handle made from transluscent French lucite circa 1930's. It is lined in brown leather with 2 divided interior pockets. 9" wide and 10" deep with a 2" side panel. The height of the handle is 4" and the lock is 3.5" across, making it an interesting feature. Softest caramel leather gathered onto a 1950's bakelite handle in a two tone russet colour, decorated with a vintage round buckle. The beautifully curved handle "clicks" over itself to fasten. The bag is lined in the same soft leather with 2 divided interior pockets. It has a firm base with 4 anti-scratch feet. Bag measures 8" deep by 12" at its widest point and 8" at the gathered top. The buckle is 1.5" diameter and the handle is 5" high. I think this is a very "ladylike" bag, again, only one available. Price £110 + £8.50 postage UK |
